Odessa College Continuing Education is currently looking for a Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor. The position teaches coursework in massage therapy, including lectures and practicums. This is a part time position with up to 19 hours per week. Come share you experience in training tomorrow’s massage therapists.
Specific Position Duties
- Teach massage therapy coursework – all curriculum – at a variety of dates and times
- Follow course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Ability to communicate effectively and professional using excellent interpersonal skills
- Develop effective strategies to enhance student learning
- Ability to provide a dynamic teaching environment for student learning
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Texas Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
- Texas Licensed Massage Therapist Instructor (LMI)
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of teaching experience
Reporting Relationship
Report to the Health Careers Director
