DELTA’s role within the Office of the Provost is to advance the integration and support of learning technologies in NC State’s academic programs and courses, both on campus and at a distance. DELTA coordinates the funding and production of all distance-based credit programs and courses for the university, and provides enterprise academic technology and instructional support services for all modes of course delivery. Working with NC State instructors and partners, DELTA leads the way in designing, creating, implementing and supporting extraordinary digital learning experiences for our community of learners. DELTA applies expertise in technologies and pedagogies to create and nurture innovative, effective and impactful digital learning experiences for our community of instructors and learners with a collaborative, service-oriented and innovative mindset.
Essential Job Duties
The DELTA Testing Associate position serves under the Testing Services unit of the DELTA organization, reporting directly to the Assistant Director, DELTA Testing Services. This position coordinates testing services for the DELTA Testing facilities, including responsibility for testing integrity, student and faculty communications, and managing daily workflow. This position will also cross-train on other duties within Testing Services
Other Responsibilities
Cross-train for understanding of other duties within testing services such as ServiceNow, off-campus testing and DRO testing.
Minimum Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

- Strong computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) & Google Docs;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within and across various departments;
- Strong ability to work within a team;
- Ability to understand and interpret multiple University policies & procedures;
- Ability to multi-task and see projects through to the end;
- Ability to adapt to change;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Professional integrity.
