A successful candidate will preform cashier functions, customer service, account reconciling, account research and other administrative task to achieve department goals and accomplish daily operation objectives.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Preform clerical duties to include but are not limited to verifying account information and transactions for accuracy, printing and mailing invoices to accounts, account reconciliation, interaction with campus users by phone or in person, address challenges by bringing strengths to each situation and create the best solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year post-high school education or 1 year training in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual prefer Spanish.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
A. Knowledge of general office procedures and etiquette.
B. Good knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
C. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (ability to read, speak and write English.
D. Excellent human relations skills.
E. Ability to safeguard privacy protected information.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
Non-Essential Responsibilities and Duties
A. Shredding documents containing privacy protected information.
B. Cleaning work areas of dust and debris
C. Assisting with staff training and other professional development activities.
Special Instructions
Working hours Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM and every other Friday.
