Position Summary:
Rowan-Cabarrus Business Program invites applications for a full-time faculty position beginning in our Fall 2023 Semester. A full-time faculty member is expected to maintain high standards of professionalism and high academic standards. At least 40 hours per week are to be spent in the following: direct instruction; preparation and evaluation of instruction; accessibility to students; committee assignments; student recruitment; advising and service to the college and community. Faculty may be assigned a teaching schedule that includes any college location, and at times meet student, program, and college needs
Required Education/Experience:
MBA, or a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester credits in a business-related discipline, from a regionally accredited institution.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Doctorate degree (D.B.A. or a Ph.D. in a related field).
- Teaching experience in higher education, to include different teaching modalities.
- Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) skills.
- Knowledge of the ACBSP process.
- Experience with experiential learning and assessment techniques.
- Interest in student participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- Participation in a professional society.
- QM certification is desirable.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Applicants should have an understanding of an Open-Door academic environment.
- Applicants should be familiar with the academic excellence required of an ACBSP member.
- The successful applicant will show an ability to work in a collaborative environment; with faculty, staff, and community.

1. Successfully prepare, manage, and deliver course content in order to achieve course objectives, accommodate diverse learning styles, and meet student learning outcomes.
