Position Summary:
Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is looking for an adjunct Cosmetology Instructor with a focus on salon front end services for our students. A part-time, or adjunct, faculty member is employed to provide direct instruction in either a classroom, lab or business setting. The primary responsibility of part-time faculty is to provide quality instruction to students.
This position is contractual, ending each semester. A new contract may be extended for upcoming semesters if the departmental need is justified.
Required Education/Experience:
- NC Cosmetology License
- NC Cosmetology Instructor Certification
- Associate’s Degree
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Salon Management
- Reception Experience
