• Serve as the point of contact for student inquires, proper use of equipment, and material lab needs.
• Monitor the safe use of lab equipment for students, faculty, and other lab personnel.
• Perform maintenance of equipment to prevent problems, assess cleanliness, and to identify developing problems, as needed.

- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate procedures and concepts to a wide variety of constituents, including students, co-workers, and faculty.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
- Ability to instruct students in the methods for using the equipment in the lab.

At least 3-5 years of experience of extensive training and/or experience in shop procedures and safety
