Dr. James Moon's laboratory is searching for Research Lab Specialist Associate with expertise in flow cytometry and immunology. The Moon Lab in the College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Michigan is developing new immunotherapies and vaccines at the interface of immunology and engineering. We design new drug delivery systems for improving immune functions in the context of cancer, autoimmune disease, and microbial infection. Our translational immunoengineering research aims to develop new drugs for improving immune functions.
We are seeking a highly motivated research technician who can design and execute flow cytometry-based experiments. The candidate will work with interdiscplinary team in a laboratory located at the North Campus Research Complex. The candidate will conduct experiments focused on immunological assays, including flow cytometry, and perform data analysis. The candidate will work with in vitro and in vivo model systems and assist with regulatory compliance and training of new laboratory members.
