Position Summary:
Temporary part-time and grant funded position to assist with Single Stop program to include: student reach out and case management, assist with Campus Marketplace services, community resource database management, coordination with community based services, and necessary various administrative tasks. This position will report to the Director of Student Support Services. Position pay is $22/hr.
Staff Required Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in counseling, recruiting, or related field, and two (2) years of related human resources and/or human services experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Desired Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in human services field, and 2 years experience in the helping field.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of: Community resources; Applicable academic programs, and/or related programs; Customer service principles; Diverse populations and cultures; Recordkeeping principles; Public speaking skills; Computers and related software applications.
Skill in: Identifying need and coordinating support services; Assist with process development for food & resource pantry expansion; Maintaining confidentiality; Preparing and maintaining records; Understanding of case management processes; Facilitatepresentations as needed; Using a computer and related software applications; Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
