Position Summary:
The People Services Associate will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources (HR) division’s Talent Management functions.
Staff Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Education/Experience/Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- One year experience working in an HR department or team
- General Knowledge of employment laws and best practices
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good technical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking systems (ATS), human resource information system (HRIS), and/or similar computer applications

Duty and Responsibility:
Provides information by answering communications, referring special communications to appropriate person.

Fulfills and orients temporary help by forwarding requirements and criteria to temporary services, providing information and directions.

Maintains human resources records by maintaining employee logs, medical files including FMLA, Workers Compensation and ADA.

Assist with recruiting by contacting/scheduling applicants for interviews.

Enrolls new employees by issuing forms and applications, verifying completion of those forms through Employee Intouch.

Helps employees by explaining programs and processes.

In conjunction with the CHRO, assists with COVID-19 employee tracking, correspondence, vaccination verification and testing status.
