Essential Job Duties
The candidate will undertake in-depth bioinformatic analysis of whole genome sequence data for a large panel of strains of the bacterial foodborne pathogen Listeria monocytogenes. He/she will also analyze other available experimental data associated with the panel of sequenced strains; will analyze the relevant scientific literature; and will undertake the description and presentation of the results from the analyses in the form of one-two scientific publications.

- Masters degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field

- Evidence of capacity to perform independent research and publish, as indicated by authorship (ideally as lead author) in at least one peer-reviewed manuscript
