Postdoc - MPH Program
Post Doc/Trainee
The Center for Food Security and Public Health’s (CFSPH) proven track record of successfully balancing meaningful on-the-job training with a focus on public health speaks to our commitment to support veterinary professionals in a positive environment. The need for veterinarians trained in public health can be seen daily in news reports of zoonotic diseases such as high pathogenic avian influenza, foodborne illnesses such as E. coli 0157, emerging disease outbreaks worldwide, and the need for a secure food supply. Past CFSPH postdoc trainees are now working in State, Federal, or international public health, agricultural, environmental, or emergency management organizations, in faculty or outreach positions at major universities, for pharmaceutical companies, or pursuing further graduate studies.
