Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The Ecophysiology Lab at Iowa State University, Ames, IA, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar position in physiological ecology of birds. The successful candidate will join a group of researchers interested in responses to climate change, thermoregulation, and ecological modeling. The Postdoctoral Scholar will have the opportunity to lead and help organize new initiatives focused on biophysical models that predict the ecological impact of climate change on avian populations. The initial appointment period will be 12 months from the effective date of employment with the possibility of renewal.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

PhD or Doctoral Degree
