Essential Job Duties
The primary purpose of the Better Tomorrow Network Coordinator is to independently provide clinical research administration, coordination, and to function as the overall manager of all Better Tomorrow Network studies. The Better Tomorrow Network position will be responsible for strategic aspects of project management, work alongside the PI to advance the mission of the network, and manage coordinators and research staff working on network studies. This position will support the PIs, and Institute Research Network Coordinator on several current and pending research projects. This position will be responsible for a broad range of duties related to planning, organizing, executing, and monitoring the implementation of new and existing clinical trials and other research initiatives.

Other Work/Responsibilities
Duties will include supporting the PI and Institute Research Network Coordinator with maintaining research methods, tracking patients in the study, provide feedback and suggestions on the development/revision of research protocols and regulatory correspondence as well as maintaining accurate and updated manuals of procedures for the studies. This position will serve as lead coordinator on one or more of the ongoing clinical trials in the institute. This position will be responsible for supervising research staff and student volunteers.
This position will oversee the current network of subcontracted sites and lead the identification, selection, and negotiation of additional sites and studies. The position will ensure that contracted locations have the skill level and availability necessary to properly conduct the research.
This position will also ensure that Better Tomorrow Network staff members are adhering to the appropriate SOPs, and achieving excellence in patient/research participant care. The position is responsible for real time and continuous evaluation of data trends, follow-up with providers and for modifying protocols to ensure research goals are met.
Due to the nature of the research (sexual assault in women) and the geographical spread of study sites across time zones, typical encounters are after business hours and on the weekends, therefore it is typical that the position will provide support, respond when a potential research subject has been identified and make decisions.
Minimum Experience/Education
3-5 years of previous related experience
