Purpose of Job
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
- Assist in training and day-to-day activity management of the evening housekeeping staff, full-time, part-time and student personnel to ensure all assigned tasks are completed and meet standards needed for successful and safe operation.
- Work with all departments to meet their needs as they relate to housekeeping.
- Maintain a cleaning program which will maintain quality standards in training, performance, procedures, and productivity pertaining to all academic buildings.
- Inspect classroom & labs daily, maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Assist with scheduled department meetings as needed and conduct meetings if required.

Education Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED equivalency
Experience Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 1 to 3 years of progressively responsible, related work and the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Oversee the evening housekeeping operations for all academic buildings. Act as a skilled communicator with the housekeeping team and represent the department while engaging with students, faculty, staff. Serve as a liaison between departments/buildings to ensure all housekeeping/trash removal needs are met.

WORK SCHEDULE:
- Hours are 3:00PM-11:30PM,Monday-Friday (40-hour work week; with 30-minute unpaid lunch).
- Anticipate overtime to provide services for events, Open house, Orientation, and other special events on campus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Equipment used includes desktop or laptop with Microsoft Windows environment, phone, other general office equipment, and cleaning supplies/equipment.
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position.
- Work generally performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
