Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the PI, the Staff Research Associate will be processing human, piglet, and mouse brain samples. Additional duties will include mouse brain perfusion, immunohistochemistry on human, piglet and mouse tissue samples, confocal microcopy to image processed samples, and stereological analysis of relevant samples. The person will also be in charge of organizing and maintaining the samples collected. Training will be provided.

Required Qualifications
• BA/BS in a related science and knowledge of, or experience with, the basic techniques or methods required by the position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiar with immunohistochemistry and cryosectioning
• Ability to use Microsoft Office
• Communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Knowledge of medical and scientific terminology
• Detail oriented; works with a high level of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to work independently
