Position Highlights | Seeking candidates for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate II for the research laboratory of Emmanuel Katsanis, MD to pursue studies in transplant and tumor immunology. Research involves murine bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell transplantation and tumor models. Studies may also include use of human cells. Ongoing research includes novel approaches in activating anti-tumor responses, strategies to alter immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, immunomodulation in murine BMT models, and donor graft manipulation and pharmacological interventions. The successful candidate will join a team working in a research field with promising clinical applications. Preferred Qualifications | *Experience with immunologic techniques, flow cytometry, proliferation and cytokine assays, cytotoxicity assays, T cell subset isolation, immunohistochemistry, molecular biological techniques and mammalian cell culture. *Strong foundation in cellular and/or tumor immunology. *Background in immunology. *Experience with mouse models. |
