Summary

The School of Education (SOE) is seeking an experienced technology professional to join the collaborative  Office of Student Affairs (OSA) team. You will lead in the implementation and management of the Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) and Marketing Cloud platforms to provide improvements in the customer experience and overall team productivity. You will build, support and assess processes, playing a key role in designing systems to meet business goals. You will report to the Director of Recruitment and Admissions.

Responsibilities*

• Build, expand and support Salesforce functionality for more automated and effective recruitment and student support efforts
• Build and maintain inquiry and event forms using FormAssembly
• Learn and support business processes related to applications, curriculum, and certifications for undergraduate and graduate programs
• Develop data integrations to Salesforce from multiple U-M systems and sources. Work to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve issues related to Salesforce and associated technologies
• Write process documentation for user training and support
• Create and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards for the purpose of measuring and assessing admission data
• Serve as the SOE point person on UM-wide committees related to Salesforce capabilities and integrations
• Stay current with emerging technologies
• Automate routine processes such as data uploads
• Provide support in the building of email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Ensure optimal performance of the Salesforce CRM and associated third-party products

Required Qualifications*

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience using Salesforce
• Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with confidential and sensitive data
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and be responsive to stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Desired Qualifications*

• Salesforce certifications 
• Experience using SalesForce with admissions, recruiting, student services, marketing and/or communications is desired
• Experience with programming and scripting languages
• Experience with Lightning, Education Data Architecture (EDA), FormAssembly, Marketing Cloud, Symplicity, Perceptive Content imaging system, M-Pathways Student, Wolverine Access, Business Objects, Zoom, etc.
• Exposure to databases and/or data architecture

While the job is situated in Ann Arbor and on-campus work is expected, the SOE offers flexible work arrangements for eligible staff.
