Executive Director
The Center is seeking qualified applicants for the positon of Executive Director. The Center is a labor-management trust organized exclusively for educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Center is recognized as a Regional Training Center by the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The Center’s primary mission is to provide Alaska with a modern training facility and field site for delivering courses and demonstrating skills associated with oil, gas and pipeline infrastructure.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with at least five (5) year experience in vocational education or related field; or a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the pipeline and construction industry trades; or at least five (5) years’ experience managing an apprenticeship or training school in a federally approved construction apprenticeship program. Additionally, the applicants must have a working knowledge of equipment and tools associated with pipeline, building and construction, and heavy and highway trades.
The Executive Director position has excellent benefits with a salary depending on experience.
