Posting Summary | Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, a National Cancer Institute (NCI) Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and the School of Public Health seek a cancer disparities and health equity researcher with a productive and transformative research agenda to eliminate disparities and promote health equity in cancer prevention and control. Opportunities abound for collaborations with other members at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Rutgers School of Public Health, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Princeton University, and RWJ Barnabas Health community sites. There are also opportunities to be involved in several ongoing initiatives, including ScreenNJ, Global Oncology, Precision Medicine, and the Big Ten Consortium. The Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey has exceptional research resources including the New Jersey SEER Cancer Registry, Community Outreach and Engagement, ORIEN (Oncology Research Information Exchange Network), and shared resources including: 1) Biostatistics, 2) Population Research Support, 3) Advanced Genomics and Immune Monitoring; 4) Biomedical Informatics; 5) Biospecimen Repository and Histopathology Service; and 6) Metabolomics. Academic appointment will be at the Rutgers School of Public health and resident member of Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Faculty are expected to support the educational goals and activities of the School, and as such will be expected to be involved in teaching activities including targeted lectures in their area of expertise.
