We are looking for an outstanding CEO to lead an established local charity providing recreational, educational and social opportunities for children and young adults with profound disabilities, complex health needs and challenging behaviours.
Established in 1972, The Hamlet offers a wide range of services to support over 500 families each year from across Norfolk. These services promote integration and inclusion by breaking down barriers that often exist for people with disabilities. The Hamlet believes people with disabilities and complex health needs deserve to be valued for who they are. This means being given the chance to explore choice, communicate, unlock potential and take new opportunities.
The current CEO is moving on at the end of November, and the Trustees wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational leader who will build on previous successes and drive the charity forward.

COVID 19 Measures

Role Details
Hours: 36 per week. At times, some out of hours/evening work will be required to represent/meet the needs of the organisation.
Rate of pay: £45,152 per annum
Closing date: 8.00am Friday 6th August 2021
Interview date: We expect shortlisted candidates to have visited our centres prior to interview. This will be arranged in advance by the HR Administrator with those that are successfully invited to interview. We hope to hold interviews during the week commencing 23rd August 2021.

You will be required to hold a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and have supplied at least 2 satisfactory references before starting work. Any conviction or adverse report relating to care, children, vulnerable adults, or dishonesty would make a candidate unsuitable for this role.
