Position Summary | Research performed in the McAllister Heart Institute at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms of cardiac development and disease by using genetic approaches combined with single cell omics approaches and high-resolution imaging. The applicant is expected to drive the research project. The project will involve multi-omics approaches and generation of cell type specific transgenic and knockout lines to dissect genetic pathways governing cell-cell communication in cardiac development and disease. |
