JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill a postdoctoral position in Lattice QCD. The successful candidate will participate in our ongoing QCD Thermodynamics program. These projects involve producing and analyzing lattice data and linking them to heavy ion phenomenology.
The ideal candidate should have experience with correlators of conserved charges based on lattice simulations at extreme conditions: at non-vanishing temperatures and baryonic chemical potentials.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics. Applications must be submitted electronically and include a cover letter, CV and statement of research interests. Applicants should arrange for three reference letters to be submitted to physicsapply@psu.ed u indicating the appropriate job number in the subject line.
This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of re-funding. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until a suitable candidate is found.

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
