Job Description
Under supervision of the Healthcare Program Coordinator, the Nursing Assistant I (NAI) Instructor provides classroom, lab, and clinical instruction to Nurse Aide I students within the structured training guidelines mandated by the North Carolina Division of Health Services Regulations (DHSR) Nurse Aide Registry.
- Coordinate and supervise students in the clinical setting to ensure safe, correct and competent resident care and handling within the clinical agency guidelines
- Assist the Coordinator with gathering, maintaining, and updating student record information as required by state and federal regulatory bodies
- Assist the Coordinator with ensuring all students remain in compliance and produce documentation required by the clinical agency’s training agreement (identification, immunization, emergency training)
- Record student attendance at every class meeting and track hours missed, submit to Coordinator monthly; assign make-up work and track hours on Student Absence Form
- Maintain test security, record grades according to syllabus guidelines, enforce attendance rules
- Administer a mock state exam to students upon course completion

Pay: $24.79 - $30.63 per hour
