What You Will Do Experimental postdoctoral position in ultrafast optics and spectroscopy: the Physical Chemical & applied Spectroscopy Group in collaboration with the Laboratory for Ultrafast Materials Optical Science (LUMOS) at CINT is seeking outstanding candidates to join our efforts to study and control material properties using ultrafast laser excitations. The project will involve primarily table top experiments using higher harmonic generation (HHG) sources and also some work with XUV and X-ray Free Electron Lasers at user facilities. The postdoc will be part of a one-of-a-kind collaborative environment consisting of scientists working in the fields of ultrafast spectroscopy, materials science, laser physics, condensed matter physics and molecular dynamics theory and materials synthesis. What You Need Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Experience: Ph.D. in Physics, Physical Chemistry, Materials science, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering or any related field. All Ph.D requirements must be completed before starting this position. Only applicants within five years of completing their Ph.D are eligible for this position.
