Class Description
The purpose of this class is to perform standard administrative work supporting a functional area within assigned College department or function.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and two years of full time experience working in career counseling or development or case management. Or Associate's degree and four years of full time experience working in career counseling, development or case management. Must have a valid driver's license in good standing with violation points less than five (5).
Class Specific Essential Duties
1. Provide leadership and/or support to assigned College division and/or function.
2. Remain knowledgeable about the College, its structure, culture, policies, and practices.
3. Serve as point of contact for internal and external organizations.
4. Prepare and analyze reports, as requested.
5. Serve as an advocate for the College and its students, as required.
6. Serve as liaison between College departments, faculty and/or staff, as required.
7. Provides assessments, Employment Plan and Career guidance to students helping them to remove overcoming barriers to ensure successful outcomes.
8. Maintains accurate records and case notes in compliance with guidelines established by CCBC, DSS Identifies and accesses resources and /or makes referrals for issues as housing, homelessness, medical, mental issues, education, work experience, and job readiness.
