The Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs.

The Lindner College of Business mission is to empower business problem-solvers to tackle the world’s toughest challenges. At the graduate level, the Lindner College of Business offers a portfolio of residential and online business programs that include the Master’s of Business Administration (MBA), specialized Master’s programs (Accounting, Applied Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Marketing, and Tax), and the Ph.D.

The Assistant Dean is responsible for assisting the Dean and Associate Dean of Academic Programs with

• Preparing and revising academic programs and plans
• Developing and implementing strategies with respect to recruiting, admissions, marketing, and academic policies to achieve educational goals and objectives
• Integrating the plans of the college with those of the university
• Collaborating with faculty, staff, and corporate partners to ensure innovation and the impact of graduate programs
• Maintaining effective communication between the students, faculty, staff, and administration
• Working collaboratively with other units across campus
• Managing operations/budgets
• Supervising the professional staff of the Graduate Programs Office
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree appropriate to the field–AND- a minimum of two (2) years of higher education administrative experience. Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and a proven record of achieving diversity goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years of higher education administrative experience
• Ph.D., or terminal degree
• Experience:
  • working with external/corporate stakeholders
  • working with operating budgets
  • leading and supervising teams
