Overview

This position is responsible for assuring projects are completed in compliance with company guidelines and SOPs. The Senior Project Manager's (PM) primary goal is supporting the Director Phase II and Remediation and to provide superior customer service through the on-time delivery of a technically sound report.

This position could be expected from time to time to communicate directly with the client, relating to schedules, mark out and other onsite activities. Scope of work, results and additional services would be with the participation of the Business Development lead or Director. The PM is not expected to assist in Accounts Receivable collections or reliance requests.

Responsibilities
    Limited Phase II field work.
  • Preparation of Phase II reports.
  • Review of Proposals prepared by the Director.
  • Review of Phase II reports written by the Director (or others).
  • Manage a variety of projects for multiple clients at differing stages of the process.
  • Project set-up in GNet as request by Director.
  • Sourcing new subcontractors, including getting them approved with an NV5 MSA.
  • Oversee status of project for duration to ensure timeliness, accuracy, quality, and professional standards are met. Communicates on an ongoing basis with field personnel during the life of the project. Advise Director, Phase II of any significant issues in a timely manner so that the client can be notified.
  • Perform technical review of client reports for accuracy, quality and compliance with company SOPs and client guidelines. Make necessary changes and approve report in draft form.
  • Provide superior customer service by handling major report changes and edits based on customer feedback.
  • Complete Phase I ESA and/or PCA field work on a limited basis as necessary and as approved by the Director.
Qualifications
  • Considerable knowledge of the technical aspects of environmental assessments, environmental risk assessments, Phase II Investigation and remedial activities under the direction of the Director of Phase II and Remediation.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects at same time and meet specific deadlines with necessary quality level.
  • Able to communicate and motivate via written media.
