Overview

The Project Coordinator is responsible for daily coordination of projects and implementation of control standards and processes. They work with staff in multiple states to support the Power Delivery Group. The Project Coordinator generates schedule reports, maintains project schedules, and works closely with project managers and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of customer service. They must have good written and interpersonal communication skills, excellent judgement, and the ability to work independently and as part of various project teams.

Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator's responsibilities include:

    Filing, facilitating project initiation, managing document templates
  • Manintaining hard copy and electronic files
  • Maintaining Primavera P6 EPS, and developing and maintaining P6 templates for projects, WBS blocks, activity steps, and similar items. They must provide a three-week look-ahead staffing forecast ona a weekly basis and prepare monthly P6 summary reports for project and program management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
  • 0-2 years of experience in project control or related roles
  • 1-5 years of experience in a scheduling or office-support function, especially in public utility or consulting engineering environments
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, highly organized and detailed-oriented, deomonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and strong interpersonal skills, including deomonstrated ablitiy to work with leadership

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree ina relevant field
  • Experience scheduling a project, including the use of project management software like Primavera P6 and MS Project
  • Experience with dashboarding and cloud-based project management tools, including PowerBI Smartsheet, Procore, experience participating in client meetings, demonstrated experience monitoring and reporting

project schedule, scope, and budget, and the ability to develop and implement process improvements.

The evaluation of the Project Coordinator's performance is based, in part, on the timely and accurate completion of work.

The pay range for this California position is $26.00- $30.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
