Overview

NV5's PMO team is looking for a Scheduler to act as the point of contact for the internal project manager and project team with at least 5 years of project scheduling experience and a Bacherlor's degree in a relevant field or has equivalent training and experience.

Responsibilities

The Scheduler within NV5's PMO is responsible for:

    Manageing the project schedule and acting as the schedule controls point of contact for the internal project manager and project team
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing and managing project schedules, tracking milestones and critical paths, and utilizing critical path methodolgy for review and analysis
  • Providing project analysis and metrics for individual projects
  • Deomonstrating a working knowledge of client and industry standards related to design and construction
  • Supporting project teams through technology and project management tools
  • Providing technical support and observation services, and monitoring project organizational and administrative systems
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or other relevant field, or equivalent training and experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in project scheduling
  • Strong skills in MS Office
  • Experience with scheduling sofware such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively are required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are esential

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • Experience in public utility design and construction, natural gas pipelines, water/sewer infrastructure, or electric distribution overhead and under ground infrastructure
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related science, Business, or Organizational Management
  • Evaluation of the Scheduler's performance is based, in part on the timely and accurate completion of work, as well as attending in-house seminars and external educational opportunites

The pay range for this California position is $90,000.00- $110,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
