Minimum Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL AND WORK REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS): Bachelor's Degree in the Business discipline and two (2) years directly related instructional experience for technical classes taught. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in a Business discipline with eighteen (18) graduate hours in the relevant business discipline for transfer classes.

HOURS REQUIRED PER WEEK: A minimum of eight (8) hours per week for a three (3) semester hour class.

SUMMARY:
Under general supervision from the departmental chair, the incumbent teaches courses as scheduled, cultivates a healthy teacher-student relationship, and engages the students in active learning. The incumbent will make recommendations regarding curriculum changes, text selection, and content revision. The incumbent will perform administrative aspects of instruction in a timely manner. The incumbent will need to be able to teach in Hutto at the East Williamson County Higher Education Center as well as the Temple College main campus

PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Primarily light physical activity is required with occasional lifting and manipulation of objects up to 25 pounds. Keyboarding and computer use. Use of audio/visual devices.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is normally performed in an interior/office work environment. Travel to offsite centers may be required.
