The position is for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor, with core responsibilities in its APA-accredited PsyD program in Clinical Psychology. Primary responsibilities with doctoral students include serving as the Director of Clinical Training and Executive Training Director of an APA-accredited psychology internship consortium. Additional responsibilities include teaching, advisement, serving on dissertations, and other departmental and university responsibilities. The role of DCT involves the coordination and management of the doctoral psychology internship process and the National Match. The DCT provides support and advisement to all applicants in preparing for internship, and monitors interns throughout their internship training year. Other responsibilities include remaining up-to-date on American Psychological Association (APA) accreditation and Association for Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) membership standards and implementing regulations to ensure students are receiving quality training and meeting these requirements. The role of the Executive Training Director of Immaculata University's Doctoral Psychology Internship Consortium (IU-PIC) involves the direction and management of an APA-accredited doctoral internship consortium program. Responsibilities include remaining up-to-date with the APA Standards of Accreditation and APPIC Membership criteria and creating/revising procedures as needed to ensure compliance, monitor intern progress, remain in communication and collaboration with supervisors throughout the training year, and coordinate regularly scheduled intern and supervisor training.
