Assistant Professor of Mathematics
The Division of Math & Science at Missouri Valley College, a private liberal arts college, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Mathematics to begin August 2019. The full-time teaching load includes Introductory Statistics and general education mathematics courses, with rotation to upper division mathematics courses, based on qualifications.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Mathematics or Statistics, preferably a Ph.D., and teaching experience in the discipline. Collegiality, professionalism, a strong commitment to teaching excellence and to the college mission, and willingness to serve on campus committees and to advise students are also necessary qualifications. Familiarity with Google Apps for Education and Moodle preferred.
