Full job description

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Dean of CTE and is located on the JWCC Workforce Development Center in Quincy, Illinois. Position begins immediately.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Dean of Career and Technical Education, the Coordinator of Business and Industry Outreach will engage manufacturing, logistic and other industry and business partners within our region. The position will make contacts, establish relationships, set up discovery meetings, and coordinate training efforts with regional business and industry partners. The position will also develop pricing models for customized training. The goal of the position is to work with our regional business and industry partners to identify training needs and coordinate with JWCC staff and faculty to develop credit and non-credit offerings to match those needs.


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required. Three or more years of experience in career and technical higher education preferred. Recent and relevant work experience preferred. Previous working relationship with local and regional business and industry sector partners preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
