Overview

Responsible for ensuring that all documentation, raw materials and finished products meet quality control requirements. Responsibilities include determining the proper sampling plans based on Production Work Instructions, Inspections Procedures and Customer supplied requirements.

Major Position Responsibilities
    Inspect product (Visually, Mechanically and Electrically) and review documentation at applicable surveillance process steps (In-Process or Final) per print specifications, work orders, sales orders purchase order, and documented procedures
  • Process accepted material in accordance with documented procedures
  • Reject and quarantine suspect material
  • Process rejection documentation
  • Work with manufacturing to resolve quality issues
  • Disposition Material Review Board material and paperwork
  • Conduct First Article Inspections when required per GD-OTS and/or customer requirements, assist with customer In-Process Source Inspections
  • Certify material being shipped to customers
  • If required, review and approve redlines to documentation (as a quality representative)
  • Others as assigned
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have exerience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Be experienced in reading blue prints, defining measurement techniques, performing inspections and documenting data.
  • Must have experience using magnifying devices, test equipment, and precision measuring instruments (micrometers, indicators, calipers and comparators).
  • Must have experience utilizing CMM equipment.
  • Shall be familiar with AIS9100 or similar Quality System. Military/Aerospace regulations familiarity is highly desired.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent - Must have demonstrated computer literacy.
  • Must be a U.S. person in order to comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations
  • Bilingual skills preferred (English/Spanish)
Pay Range (USD)
Min USD $33,250.00/Annu. Mid USD $47,500.00/Annu. Max USD $61,750.00/Annu.
Additional Compensation
Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
