Job Description

Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit. Pay range is low 50s, based on credentials.

 

Responsibilities: This full-time, in person, faculty position begins teaching responsibilities in the Business Department with the Fall 2024 semester and will be expected to teach a combination of day, evening and online classes. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible to teach 15 credit hours per semester in accounting and business courses. This position will also be responsible for curriculum development and student advising.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or CPA or CMA and 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Current knowledge of tax accounting procedures
  • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level

 


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with Program Development
  • 3+ years of experience teaching business courses at the college level
  • Experience teaching in an online environment
  • Experience with Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems
