The Post-Doctoral Scholar participates in research on exposures related to childhood asthma; conducts quantitative studies, engages with development and validation of assessment tools, and conducts qualitative methods to code interviews with associated projects; researches topics such as the commercialization and innovation of research outcomes; maintains IRB protocol and makes amendments as needed; prepares and writes journal articles, conference papers, and presents findings at local and national conferences; collaborates with external colleagues; mentors a team of undergraduate and graduate students across all phases of research; answers questions and provides guidance about the direction of research groups and individual research projects to PIs; assists with the preparation of grant proposals by collaborating with Principal Investigators to discuss the grant writing process.

Hiring Range: $48,000 - $60,000
